1)CLARE CONNOR -FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF MCC;

            • Former england captain clare connor become the first female president of marylebone cricket club in its 233 years history. 
              • She was named the captain of her side in 2000 and held the position until her retirement from international cricket  in 2006.
Did You Know? 
        Clare connor featured 111 internationals, scoring 1604 runs and taking 104 wickets. 

2)DHARMENDRA PRADHAN INAUGURATED PADC IN ODISHA;

                 • Union minister Dharmendra pradhan and Odisha CM Naveen patnaik virtually inaugurated PADC in Paradip.
                 • It has been taken 5 -acre of land with a capital expenditure of nearly ₹.43 crore.

3)MAHARASHTRA GOV ANNOUNCED MAHA PURWANA PLAN;

               • Maha Purwana is a new plan announced by maharashtra government, and it offer a single window clearance system for project execution. 
               • Many companies inversting in a project nearly RS.50  crore or more, wouldn't be burdened with getting clearness from several other departments.

4)26.9 CRORE PEOPLE USED DRUGS IN 2018 - UNODC WORLD DRUG REPORT;

                 • About 26.9  crore people used drugs in 2018, which was 30% more than the 2009 survey, with adolescents and young adults accounting for largest share of users.
                 • According to the latest UNODC 's world drug report says that use od drugs in India have increased.

5)GOV PAYS RS.140.64 CRORE INSURANCE DUES;
  

              • The threat by private hospitals to stop the treatment under KASP. 
                • From july 1  the huge backlog in payments has forced the government to sanction RS.140.64 crore of amount to the State Health Agency (SHA) to clear the dues.

6)AUSTRALIA TO HOST FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2023;

                • The FIFA women's world cup 2023 will be staged in Australia and New zealand. 
                • Following from the astounding success of FIFA women's world cup 2019 in france and subsequent unanimous decision by the FIFA council, the FIFA women's world cup 2023 will be featured 32 teams.

        It will be the first to be hosted by Australia and New zealand. 

7) WORLDS FIRST YOGA UNIVERSITY ;

               • The worlds first yoga university outside has been launched in Los Angeles.
               • The vivekananda yoga university will gave eminent India's  yoga guru Dr.H R.Nagendro, chancellor of swami vivekananda yoga Anusandhana samasthana as its first chairman.

8)WORLD ATHLETICS LAUNCHED ROAD TO TOKYO ;

                 • World athletics has launched 'Road to Tokyo' an online tool and track the qualification processs for next years olympic games.
                 • The games will now be started from July 23 to Aug 8, 2021.

9)INDIAN NAVY INDUCTED A SYSTEM;

                 • Anti- submarine  Welfare Capability Of Indian Navy has inducted the Advance Torpedo Decoy system maareech capable of being fired from all frontline worships.
                 • Design and development of this Anti Torpedo Decoy system has been under taken by DRDO labs.

        Bharat Electronic  Limited undertake the production of this decoy system.

10)SANDIP SINGH GILL TOOK OVER AS ADDITIONAL DG;

                  • Major General  gill has been taken as the Additional Director  General  of NCC Directorate. 
                  • Before that, he was the group commander of Ncc group HQ, Jammu.

        Major general gill is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune.
