1)ODISHA GOVERNMENT LAUNCHED "BALARAM YOJANA";


  • Odisha government has launched 'Balaram Yojana' to provide crop loans to landless farmers. 
  • Under the scheme, the landless cultivators will get loans through Joint Liability Groups(JLG).

2)DELHI GOVERNMENT LAUNCHED E-PORTAL ;



  •  The Delhi  government has launched an online portal LEAD.
  • LEAD will make textbooks, study materials, and course content  as per the syllabus of CBSC, NCERT, and Delhi governments curriculum accessible to students.

3)NEW RECORD CREATED IN UP;


  • In UP, a new record was created on 5 july by planting more than 25 crore saplings in a single day. 
  • The unique feature of the plantation drive was to keep children and old age persons away from it due to corona crisis and use of those plants which have medicinal properties. 

4)GOVERNMENT BLOCKED 40 WEBSITES OF SFJ;



  • The ministry of electronics and information technology has blocked 40 websites of Sikhs For Justice. 
  • It is an unlawful organization and its website have been blocked under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. 


5)NPCI TO BUILD SMART DATA CENTRE IN HYDERABAD ;


  • The National Payment Corporation of India will develop its smart data centre in hyderabad at an investment of RS. 500 crore. 
  • It would be recoganised as the first tier IV data centre in hyderabad. 


6)ZOYA KHAN- FIRST TRANSGENDER OPERATOR OF CSC;


  • Zoya khan from vadodara district of Gujarat become the first transgender operator of the Common Service Centre in India. 
  • She aims to uplift the transgender community by making them digitally literate.

        CSC are facilities provided by government for delivering e-services to rural and remote areas where internet is absent.


7) CHINA'S LIN DAN ANNOUNCED RETAIREMENT;



  • China's two- time olympic badminton champion Lin Dan, one of the sport's greatest singles player has announced his retirement. 

  • He won olympic singles title in Beijing in 2008 and 2012 London games.

 Did You Know? 

        He won all sport's major titles, including 5 world championship gold medals.

8)AIFF GET AFC ELITE YOUTH SCHEME MEMBERSHIP ;

  • The Asian Football Confederation has conferred the All India Football Federation with the AFC Elite Youth Scheme membership status. 
  • The AFC panel evaluates in 20 areas of core activities such as leadership planning etc.
